Hors d'oeuvre Party

vodka and beet stained gravad laks on potato latke with sour cream
I did a party for Ramyi the Minx at the Wrongbar on Queen Street in Toronto a while back. It was a good opportunity to try out some new hors d'oeurve. It was a fun laid back evening and everyone seemed to have a good time, including me and Adrian.

We did around 10 different hors including:
- vodka and beet stained gravlax on potato latkes with sour cream
- crostini of rabbit rillette with smoked tongue pickled cherry and birch syrup
- Jerusalem artichoke pannacotta with caviar and plum
- Vietnamese sausage and pork floss cold rolls with ginger and hoisen
- jerk shrimp and rum glazed pineapple skewers
- pistachio and apple crusted goats cheese truffles
- vodka soaked olives wrapped with boquerones
It was a pretty big success. We got a lot of compliments on the food and presentation.
